Real BBQ - Paper Plates - and Sean's hand just waiting to eat!
BBQ Chicken
1 Whole Chicken, cut into pieces
Kickin' Chicken Seasoning
Hickory Seasoning (Target brand)
1 beer
*Rub chicken all over with hickory and kickin' chicken seasoning.  Then lay flat in a pan with beer at the bottom. The chicken doesn't have to be covered in beer, you can flip it later.  So, keep it on one side for 2 hours and the other for 2 hours. Thanks for your help Sean!
Then preheat your grill to medium high heat.
Start with the breast of the chicken. Put that on first. 10 minutes skin side down. Be careful of flair ups and just make sure it doesn't get out of control. You can move the chicken if you need to. The beer will help by not actually allowing the skin to crisp off and be inedible so you should be pretty good.
After cooking the breast for 10 minutes add the wings and the drumsticks. You will want those on for 10 minutes per side. The breast will probably be more like 15 minutes per side. If everything is not done exactly together just place the done pieces on the top rack and keep them warm. Take your chicken off and toss in BBQ sauce right away!
Juicy - Delicious - Amazing - Real BBQ Chicken - No Shortcuts

Grilled potatoes
2 red potatoes
2 yellow potatoes
2 TBSP canola oil
2 TBSP butter
Weber Zesty lemon seasoning
McCormick Backyard brick oven seasoning
pinch of salt
*Put all of these ingredients in a grill-safe stainless steel pan. Put over medium high heat. Tossing often, cook for about 25 minutes.  I would add them after the chicken has been cooking about 10-15 minutes. Your seasonings are just an eye-ball amount.  Use as much or as little as you like.

You will have a great Friday Night Grilled Meal!
