Dirty Rice and Shrimp

Dirty Rice
Ingredients:
1 package of New Orleans Dirty Rice Mix
1 pound of Short Rib ground beef
1 link of chorizo, removed from casing
Lawry's seasoning salt - about 1 -2 tsp
1 tsp paprika
2-3 cups of water
2 TBSP butter




Directions:
1. Heat a large sauté pan to medium heat. Add the chorizo and beef and begin to break up.  Add seasonings.  Cook until browned
2. Drain meat into another pan. (Reserve the juice in the pan)
3. Add 2 and 1/4 cups of water to the meat and the Rice packet mixture.  Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer for 25-30 minutes. 
4. Add 2 TBSP butter, taste for seasoning and serve with New Orleans Shrimp on top or on the side.



New Orleans Shrimp
Ingredients:
2 lbs of 16-20 count shrimp, tails and shells removed
1 TBSP Joe's stuff seasoning
Juice in the pan from rendering meat for rice
2-4 dashes of chipotle tabasco sauce
1 TBSP butter




Directions:
1. Heat up the pan juices from the meat again to medium heat.
2. Season shrimp with Joe's Stuff, add the shrimp and dashes of Chipotle Tabasco
3. Cook, stirring often for about 5 minutes
4. Add 1 TBSP butter at the end, toss in.
5. Serve right away
