Keep it Simple Cheese Burgers
1.2 pounds of 85/15 ground beef
3 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
3 slices of American cheese
1 tsp worsteshire sauce
1 tsp fresh garlic
salt and pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
4 soft burger buns
Potato Chips with ridges
Directions:
1. Put meat in a bowl and add salt, pepper, garlic, fresh garlic, and worsteshire. Mix with your hand just until combined. Do not over mix because the meat could get tough.
2. Form into 4 large patties. Refrigerate until ready to grill.
3. Preheat grill to high heat. Grill on one side for 4 minutes. Before you flip, season with a little more salt and pepper. This will help create a nice grill crust for you. Flip the burgers. Cover the grill for about 2 minutes.
4. Mix up the cheese and make sure you put both cheese on each burger. Cover the grill again for 2 minutes.
5. Serve the burgers on a warm soft bun. I topped my burger with Ranch dressing and a few chips. Sean had his with BBQ sauce and a few chips.
Enjoy!
This evening a had a chocolate martini for dessert. Thank you Joellyn for the Godiva Liquor.
