Chicken and Biscuit Kebabs
Chicken and Biscuits Kebabs
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped
2 bell peppers, chopped ( orange or yellow are my favorite but you can use red)
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 tbsp kickin chicken seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
4 tbsp butter
5 tbsp honey
1 package of refrigerated bisquits, cut in half
2 tbsp canola oil
10 skewers
cooking spray
Directions:
1. Soak your skewers in water and heat your oven to 400 degrees
2. Spray your cookie sheet. Toss the chicken pieces on the cookie sheet with the seasonings and oil. Cook for about 8 minutes.
3. Remove the chicken and let cool a bit. Thred the onion, chicken and pepper on the skewer. Then add half of a bisquit on the skewer and repeat
4. Repeat until all your skewers are done. You should have about 10 skewers total.
5. Bake for about 15 minutes, turning haleway through.
6. Melt the butter with the honey
7. When the food has about 5 minutes left take it out of the oven and brush with honey butter.
8. Put back in oven until golden Brown and crispy. When you take the food out, flip the skewers quickly and brush one more time before serving.
Enjoy
