Classic Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:
6 oz cream cheese
10 Tbsp butter
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
About 4-6 tbsp of chicken stock
1 pound box of fettuccini, cooked to box directions. Once out of the water, toss wi th 2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp of fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
2 chicken breasts, cut in half
Seasoning for chicken: salt, pepper, garlic powder, red pepper flakes

Directions:
1. Put cream cheese and butter in a large saucepan. Heat over medium heat, whisking gently.
2. Once everything is melted, stir in the seasoning and cheese. Keep cooking over medium heat, whisking for about 7-10 minutes.
3. Start your chicken by heating a pan with 1 tbsp olive. Sear and cook the chicken for 7 minutes per side.
4. To thin the sauce a bit, add in a little chicken stock and whisk
5. Diced your chicken.
6. Put a portion of pasta on a plate, top with sauce, chicken, and sprinkle with fresh herbs

I added a little red pepper on top and freshly grated asiago, parmesan, and lemon zest blend.
