Cajun Fried Chicken Wings




26 chicken wings

Canola oil

cooking Spray

Dinosaur BBQ Cajun Foreplay Seasoning Mix


On a sheet tray lined with foil, spray foil with cooking spray, place wings down and toss with Dinosaur BBQ Cajun Foreplay seasoning and canola oil. Put in 300 degree oven for 30 minutes or until wings register 145 degrees. Heat oil in Dutch oven on medium high heat. Wait 5 minutes. Put your first wing in and test to see if the oil rolls and ripples. If not, wait. Once oil is hot and bubbling with that first wing, add about 8 more wings and cook for 7 minutes in the oil, turning at least once.

Drain on paper towels and immediately sprinkle with Cajun foreplay seasoning. Turn over and sprinkle more seasoning. Your wings should look dark and crispy brown. If not, turn your oil up and fry longer. Let rest as you fry the rest of the wings. I did 3 batches. Now if you are timing up the wings here and waiting to serve or waiting to make your side dish, move from the paper towel tray to a baking rack over a sheet tray. Spread in a single layer, no overlap. If it’s awhile before serving, just keep warm by the oven and then put them under the broiler on high for 5 minutes before serving.
