2008 Merlot
October 5th 2014
Yesterday we spent the day at World of Beer Octoberfest with some new friends. I tried a new local beer called Two Roads Worker's Comp. It was light and fruit kind of like a Stella and Blue Moon blend. It was a nice evening of live music, food and beer.
Today I made the buttery NY Strip steak with broccoli again....it was so good last week I had to repeat. But today, I had an excellent, most excellent wine pairing with it.

This was a perfect, full body wine for this buttery steak. I purchased this wine from my now favorite wine shop, Old Greenwich Wines.
