Chicken, Sprouts and Malbec

Chicken
4 drumsticks
4 wings
canola oil
New orleans chicken seasoning
salt and pepper
375 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Shaved Brussel Sprouts with Chorizo
3 tbsp butter
1 Shallot
1 clove of garlic
salt and pepper
4 cups of shaved brussel sprouts
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 link of chorizo, diced into small pieces
Directions:
1. Render the chorizo in a pan for about 5-7 minutes
2. Add the chopped garlic, butter, and chopped shallot. Cook for about 2 minutes
3. Add the brussel sprouts and seasonings.
4. Cook, over high heat, stirring often for about 20 minutes.
5. Your brussel sprouts will cook down but they will also get a little color because you cooked them on high heat.
Wine - the best part of this meal:

This wine is produced in limestone soil in a very dry climate. Because of the elements it produces a low yield which makes this really special. It was amazing. I haven't had a french Malbec since Noir 46.
