Whisky Cheese Fondue

Ingredients:
8 oz shredded sharp cheddar
8 oz shredded milk cheddar
8 oz block or half pound of monterray jack cheese, cut up into cubes
2 TBSP cornstarch
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 cup dry white wine
3 TBSP whisky or bourbon
Salt and pepper
Pretzel bread, sourdough, broccoli, cauliflower for dipping

Directions:
1. Start wine and garlic in a heavy bottom saucepan. Bring to a simmer for 2 minutes.
2. Toss the cheese with the cornstarch.
3. Over medium heat, slowly whisk in the cheese until completely melted
4. Add salt and pepper. Whisk in the whisky and stir for about 3 minutes while cheese is bubbly.
5. Serve wit cut pieces of bread and steamed vegetables.

Enjoy with some whisky!
