Cajun Blackened Shrimp Tacos
Smoked paprika
garlic powder
cayenne pepper
onion powder
thyme
salt
About 2 pounds of raw shrimp, cleaned, 20-26 size.
Directions:
1. Season shrimp and let size for about 10 minutes.
2. Heat a cast iron with 2 TBSP butter until smoking hot. Cook shrimp 2 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon.
Ingredients for slaw:
1/4 head shredded cabbage, green
1/2 head shredded cabbage, red
4 scallions, greens only
1 jalepeno, diced
2 TBSP cilantro
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small container of greek yogurt
Lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients no more than 1 hour before cooking.
Serve shrimp with a little slaw in a warm tortilla and top with tabasco.
