Black and White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temp

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar

2 large eggs, room temp

2 tsp vanilla

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1 tsp cornstarch

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

8 turns of fresh cracked pink salt

3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

3/4 cup white chocolate chips

Pinch of course sea salt when they come out of the oven

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy - about 3 minutes.

3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and just mix until together.

4. Sift the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch together.

5. With the mixer on low, add in the dry ingredients slowly. Scrape down the sides about halfway through.

6. When dry ingredients are all incorporated, add in your chocolate chips. Mix just for 10 seconds.

7. Arrange cookies on parchment paper-lined trays - you should have 14 cookies.

8. Bake for 12 minutes, switching the trays halfway through. Exchange which shelf the cookies are on and rotate the tray to ensure even cooking.

9. Let cool on the trays for 10 minutes on top of a cooling rack and then remove the cookies from the tray to finish cooling directly on the rack.

Store cookies in plastic wrap or airtight container for up to 5 days.

Enjoy!
